Editing Contract Info With Editor Resulting In Glitch

Post by bl981 »

Hey guys,

I've currently been editing a database using the editor and just loaded up a game to check for any glitches. For all the players I've edited contracts for, the 2nd year and further are all showing up as $0. Any idea what's causing this error?

Thanks,

BL

I cant figure it out.. all i did in the editor was change contract expiry and the salary annual amount.. shouldnt the game read this the same as all the other player contract data? What am i missing?

Do i have to use the contract extension in the config file? That doesn't make sense because the game should just read the contract details and put it in the game.

Can you post a screenshot of an example player from the Basic Data tab in the player's profile in the Editor? If the Contract Details screen is enabled then I'd need to see screenshot of that tab too.

This is what it's doing for any players whose contract expiry I've changed passed 2021. Any reason why?

I expect it's because you haven't completed the Future Weekly Nominal Salary for the second year. See the table on the Contract Details tab.

No other players in the editor have anything filled in the future nominal salary table? That would be extremely time consuming if I had to go in there and do that for every player contract that I edited.

I have found the issue.. if you have the player contract details tab active, you have to fill in the future nominal salary table

If you don't want to do that and you have the contract details tab active, you have to click on it, and go to the bottom and click delete all contract details.

So basically if you want to fill in any part of the contract details like two way percentage (which is all I was doing) you will also have to fill out the future nominal salary table too. It would be nice if that would just auto calculate based on the annual salary entered on the basic data / club contract screen.
