Tried searching for answer, but couldn´t find it.
I don´t know if this is a game bug or something database related.

But i have noticed that when the World Cup is up, not a single one of my players get selected for the international rosters.
I have players that should get picked, and i have seen this in multiple saves.
It seems like it´s only my players that get overlooked, because other players from nhl get selected. Both Western and Eastern.
I play the Sharks

Best place to post this would be here: https://community.sigames.com/forums/fo ... ugs-forum/ and update one or two of those saves so the developer can see if there is a logic issue going on. I know in my plays I have seen my players selected for the World Cup but the selection criteria for that is game code and not determined by the database. I would guess it's going to be almost entirely based on reputation, I'd compare some of your players rep with the players selected and see if there is a difference, you can use the EHM editor or EHM Assistant to look around your save game.

Pivot v6.10 - NHL Trade Deadline Edition posted to Steam!

General Updates:
- Latest notable transactions - including foreign player releases from KHL teams
- No changes have been made to any Russian or Ukranian leagues at this time outside of player transfers.

NHL Updates:
- Updated post trade deadline
-- Note for the players who had retention below a 750k cap hit (ex: Brassard) I gave a negative cap penalty back for the difference as I can't do a cap hit lower then 750k.
- Some player re-rates for notable performances (good or bad) this season
- Updated draft pick swaps as some were missing and others had conditions met/not met.
- Due to an AI bug I've decided to remove buyout cap hit penalties from the NHL. This will help maintain AI team health long term so they don't continue to sign/buyout players and rack up penalties. More info on this bug here: Player continuously signed and dropped immediately
-- This will also help AI GMs get out/around some really bad cap conditions that it's not capable of handling (Minnesota/Vegas)

I may choose to release the final update of Pivot for the 2021-22 season, with Ben Myers off to Colorado there isn't a lot left to look out for, also with European free agency starting for some leagues keeping up with transfers will cause some confusion for me. I have a lot of work to do for the 2022-23 season with all the fallout from the Russia-Ukraine war so I'd like to get started on prepping for that. First release for 2022-23 will be the Free Agent Frenzy DB released on July 1st. As always thanks to everyone for the support and feedback and keeping this passion project going!

Hello xECK ! I don't know if there is something I'm missing, I get the DB from the Workshop. Both start dates available when I start a game are in 2021. Do I need to do something to get in the 2022-23 season, or it's intended as so ?

Hey xECK29x, I was just browsing through your rosters and spotted a mistake regarding the 3rd tier Austrian league. It should be called "Österreichische Eishockeyliga" instead of "1. Oberösterreichische Eishockeyliga". Oberösterreich (Upper Austria) is just a province in Austria.

Is there any interest in expanding the non-playable 4th tier in Austria? I might of help there.

The "Österreichische Eishockeyliga" appears as a Division of the "Österreichische Landesligen" where the "1. Oberösterreichische Eishockeyliga" should be.
Furthermore EV Leoben should be moved from "Austria4" to "Steirische Eliteliga".

Eventually the Austrian "Tier-Tree" should look like this:
Tier 1: ICEHL
Tier 2: Alps HL
Tier 3: Österreichische Eishockeyliga with its Divisions, which are correct in the DB

Thanks! I'll take a look at these leagues and clean them up, I do try to stick to whatever EP names things for convienance sake but if they are well off I can let them know. I already got the ICEHL update lined up for the next release (likely this weekend).

As far as making those leagues playable, I'm not sure. I do want to get the Youngstars league (or its current equivalent) back in but the more leagues we add the more we have to maintain.

Totally understandable. The most important part of my message was the first paragraph regarding the unintentional swap of the league names.

As far as making those leagues playable, I'm not sure. I do want to get the Youngstars league (or its current equivalent) back in but the more leagues we add the more we have to maintain.

This is a misunderstanding, I did not mean to suggest making more (senior) leagues in Austria playable, as I also think that it won't make sense, since the quality of play in these league is pretty low and the leagues are rather unstable and subsceptible to folding (thus making all the efforts in creating the database void). I just meant adding teams, that are playing in Tier 4 (if possible, I would be glad to help).
Having Tier 3&4 as non-playable leagues is fine Tier 4 (as above) would depict the highest league of each Austrian provincial ice hockey federation.

But I just had one suggestion jump to my mind: Would it be possible to rid the teams and leagues of their sponsorship names? I don't know if it adds much of realism and it would also make maintenance a bit easier for you, when the teams get new main sponsors (and honestly, I also hate this custom in Austrian sports to add some company name to your clubs name, just for some cash).

Exactly (but suggesting, not requesting ). Just an example in Austria is EC VSV which ran with names from three different sponsors in the past five years: from a clean "EC VSV" until 2018 to "EC Panaceo VSV" until 2020 to "EC GRAND Immo VSV" until 2022 to "EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV" starting this season (especially the last one makes me wann puke ).

Austria or any other German speaking country should be no problem for me.

That's another point I didn't think of, but I would see relief for the maintenance work in the DB without sponsor names.
