Vancouver Giants question...
I'll direct this toward batdad since he was talking about this guy before. What's the deal on Milan Lucic? I hear he's been turning into a goal scorer lately. Is this just because of so many guys being away at the WJC or is he really adding more to his game? I've been interested in him since the Bruins took him with a 2nd round pick. If he can get his skating to an NHL level (on of the knocks against him that I've read about) he'll be a fan favorite in Boston.

Honestly, not watching that much of the Giants as of late. Too busy this time of season. My boy has been in a tournament, which thankfully his team got blasted out of today. No more 45 minute drives to watch hockey and listen to psycho parents of 10 year olds.
However, back to the point... Lucic is playing with a couple of studs alot of the time...Repik, and I think Mahacek...so all he has to do is take that gargantuan body to the net. Helps to have Mikkelson, Blum and Franson firing pucks through for him to deflect and catch rebounds off, and to have McArdle up front with Watt to free up his unit from strong checkers. By all accounts Milan is defintely progressing well...Better than expected.
