Popo: Next Cities?

PLEASE NOTE: ADVERTISING A LEAGUE/COMPETITION/WEB SITE/FORUM IS NO LONGER PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THE BLUE LINE. We have had too many people take liberties with this privilege; signing up simply to advertise their site and not actually contributing to the community. We also see a lot of bumping of threads which is really just spamming the site. Anybody that advertises anything on TBL will be permanently banned for spamming.

If it's just a language issue, quebecers already have Paris if they want to speak french :D And Alex/Ludovic won't say the contrary as he's a citizen of Paris ;)

New city for new language? One more reason to vote for Tokyo! :joy: Hum...anyone speaks japanese? :-k ^^

Well yeah, i live in Paris because it's a french city... But the Parisiens and the frenchies doesn't use the same french then I, so sometime i get messed up because they are using words that we don't even use in Quebec, like we do...

We speak joual not ile-de-france french :p, at least international French is understandable, but your verlan, argot and other "coolish" expressions are quite.... INCOMPREHENSIBLES!!! :p

...and they are an offense to french language IMO :roll: At least it remains a communication way for those here that are unable to speak a correct french...

But that's once again off-topic, so i won't say more about it.

Any other proposition for a new popo-city? Or any new point of view about the cities already mentionned?

In Africa, maybe a Maghrebian city, Algers or anywhere else. Raï is quite important "world" music and could be a hub for African and Arab worlds [add also French imperialists like Shadd :p]

Back on topic, a city in Africa should be good, for sure, as it would furthermore open a new continent to play in :D

A Maghrebian city is an option, and one in South Africa should be good too i think.

Pekin should be fun too, when you look at the fast devellopement of China, but i'm not sure that Chinese people are autorized by their governement to access a site like Popo :roll: And there's stiill the language issue that should cause problems...
