had you tried to unistall and reinstall the game?

If you can't start a new game, surely the game installation is corrupted somehow :dunno:

So I'm guessing there is no way to fix my save game file?

And since I can't use the activation code on more than 2 computers does uninstalling and installing the game count as the 2nd one?....I want to put this game on my laptop and I don't want to buy it again.

If you can't load or even start a new game I would have to assume your install is messed up.

The only way to fix that would be to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Good luck.

Your game file might be fine. If you can't start a new game it's most likely just a problem with the game itself, not your save. Uninstalling and reinstalling won't take up another license. There is a e-license thing in the control panel that handles the licensing. It shouldn't be affected by a reinstall. I just gives that computer a license to run that game. I'm thinking you should be fine.

Before you uninstall the game, uninstall the current license and you'll be back to two open licenses. When the game is reinstalled, simply reinstall the license code again. Everything should then be back to normal(unless the problem lies within the save game... then you're screwed, I think)

What error are you getting or what is the program doing? You say it's a corrupt save but if it won't allow you to start a new game it must be an install issue. So can you start up the game and get to the main screen to start a new game and then it crashes? :-?

You really haven't provided us with any information that will allow us to help you. :dunno: Maybe you could answer these questions for us:

What patch are you running?
Are you using an edited database?
Is the save game corrupt or is it EHM that isn't working?
What happens when you try starting a new game? What is the exact error message?
What happens when you try loading a saved game? What is the exact error message?
What have you done to EHM between when it last worked and when it stopped working?
