As per TSN.

I think most people saw this coming. For good or bad Gretz will be back coaching next year, but if they tank again, will he step down?

And...Vancouver will quickly lose Steve Tambellini once they exit the NHL playoffs.

Note: Tamby and Gretzky were roommates in 1979 World Under 20s. Have had a very long term friendship.

I think that Wayne will go three years more with Tamby to see what happens.

Canucks loss is the Coyotes gain. They could be a good tandem - especially at the draft.
