If a player flicks the puck up ice to a breaking forward then jumps off for a line change BEFORE the forward scores is that player awared a plus in the +/- standings? I know he is awarded the assist but because he was off the ice doesnt that negate the +?
Ehm ain't perfect!! I have had that happen to me 5 times in my life...in real life hockey. God I miss playing. Oh well, live vicariously through batboy.

dunno why but that reminds me of my chihuahua i call ratboy (not his real name)
I suppose that theoretically (it would never happen IRL) you could score a goal and not get a +/- point. If you dump the puck in, get off the ice and then the other team scores an own goal, you would get credited with the goal, but I suppose not the +/- as you weren't on the ice.

I've seen this happen in the NHL when a player thats on the PK just dumps the puck down ice and quickly jumps off for a line change and the goalie at the other end has the puck jump at the last second. Come to think of it i've seen it happen twice in person. One was Flyers vs Caps where Kolzig left the crease to play it in the corner (old rules) and the puck took a weird angle and went in. The other was Ivan Majesky but I cant remember who it was against.
