Trading during the draft

Post by cikiri »

Is it possible to make trades during the NHL Entry Draft?

If so, how do you?

Thanks for any input

You can trade during the draft by exiting the draft. Just click "continue" at the very top of your screen. It usually takes you back to the "news" page. Just go and offer a trade as you normally would there. Once you're done, go back to the news item for the draft and click "Go to Draft". It should bring you right back to it.

Go back to your main screen OR I believe you can go to see who is drafting next and click on the team name and there will be the trade option. You can leave the draft without it ending.

Hopefully your scouts did their job. :dunno:

I always do scouting on older players available, especially those in Europe and try and grab some in the later rounds that are projected to be 2nd line talent, or goalies that can become backups or potential starters in the AHL. These players also are great 'trade bait'. So being able to trade for 6th or 7th round picks during the draft make a big difference for me.

Good luck in the draft! :joy:
