sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but didn't see anywhere else on the forum... Getzlaf15... The TBL Rosters 2007-08 v1.3 roster file just wondering was going to put together the edmonton oil kings roster and was just wondering does the game consist of the 07 bantam draft group or no...

No and no. This question was asked and answered some time ago. We are not adding in drafts to my knowledge, nor are we adding players or expansion teams. Since you can't add expansion teams without dropping others.

The drafts just couldn't simply be done, we could add the players rights into the correct team in the Editor, but it would mean that the draft of that year would be rubbish.

For example, in the editor, you could give Patrick Kane's rights to Chicago already, and change his draft to 1st round 1st overall of 2007, but it would mean that you can't see this when it comes to draft day, and rubbish players were consequently being picked 1st overall.

As for the Oil Kings, Batdad stated that we can't add teams without dropping one, as the amount of teams in a league can't be changed.

So we had to keep it as it is, sorry dude.

Just a problem wit hthe roster file... You guys put Mississippi Sea Wolves in the game at which, tested it out and Texas Wildcatters team still plays but not on the schedule or standings and when it comes to July of 07 there schedule never gets released... Though I would point that out...

This was a complete rookie mistake on my part...

Upon adding the Mississippi Sea Wolves, I forgot to remove the now extinct team: Toledo Storm, making it 26 teams instead of 25 in the ECHL.

You may fix this yourself by completely removing Toledo from the game, and moving Charlotte Checkers from South Division to North. They do not play in the North Division in real life, but since the numbers of teams per division are hard coded, and Charlotte is the most northern team of the now overgrown South Division, one team must be moved from there to take the vacant spot left by Toledo.

Also remember to remove the former Toledo players from their contracts, just to be safe and avoid any unpleasant surprises in the future.

Calv will fix this for the next version, right Calv?

Thanks Tasku for letting me know how to fix it... greatly appreciate your help in fixing this you guys do a great job putting alot of time and effort into these rosters.

Tasku one other thing about the ECHL... u can take out Long Beach and add in Elima or what ever the team is named b/c i see Long Beach instead in ECHL anymore

What i also ment to say in my last post since i cant edit it anymore is i moved Elmira Jackals to ECHL and Long Beach Ice Dogs to UHL

I plan on doing my best to bring new teams and moving extinct teams from the ECHL when I get to updating the league for version 1.5. So far we've edited the ECHL only to give NHL teams as much the correct affiliates as possible. Everything else has been left untouched for now.

Like I already said, if you would listen, dammit!

Remove Toledo Storm from the game and move Charlotte Checkers from ECHL South Division to ECHL North Division.

Also make all Toledo players free agents, and move the two AHL players that are in loan at Toledo to their own team.

With John Ferguson Jr getting Fired today and Cliff Fletcher coming i i looked for cliff in the roster file and he is not on there and was wondering if anyone can give me any details as what to put for his stuff for the roster file..

Any idea when the AHL part of the database is going to be completed? Just curious, no rush. Also what other than the AHL that has already been completed is going to be included? I lost track.

Hi Jason.

When Calv gets done with his UK update (sometime early next month), I'll be getting on top of Finnish SM-liiga and Mestis, plus AHL and ECHL. This'll require anything between 2-4 weeks to complete. Hopefully only two, as I intend to be quick about it.

In short: I'm aiming for it to be available before March, the sooner the better.

Cutting kinda close for the other leagues still awaiting their turn to be done before the end of the season...

Upto now, we've had the NHL updated, then it was the Swedish Leagues, and finally was the WHL, OHL and QMJHL. Then obviously the UK and the ones that Tasku said.

I sure will. Mostly though, it's just browsing thru team websites so not much can be added there...

Only thing uncertain are the correct wages, so if anyone can find any info on those, that would be great. I've tried a few searches, but no dice.
