2, has anyone thought of maybe doing some music for the stadium breaks when playing a match?

I had never even thought of that. Has anyone? Is it even possible? Would be neat if it was.

This is sort of off-topic but sort of not, but I think the music is pointless cause it never plays in the background, while players are skating to the bench or something, instead it stops the game for a while at the face-off, which really bugs me, and I never have sounds on for that reason.

I double Tasku.

Back on topic, yes it is possible. Clearly worthless, but possible.

I tried with 2005, but couldn't get it to work. Haven't tried with 2007, though... 'cause I've always had the sound off anyway(I'm always listening to my own music).

There was a post on another EHM forum mentioning a post on the SI forums. Granted, that's about as second-hand as you can get, but. The original post quoted on the other forums was:
If you want to remove the music playing before, you can just delete the appropriate music files from the data\sounds folder (music1.wav etc).

Or you can replace them with your own music files.

If you want to add in random music files to be played, here`s how to do it:

1) create a sub folder in data\sounds called "random_music"
2) place your wav files here and name them "music_1.wav" etc. Up to 10-20 files are supported, so the last one that the game can read would be "music_20.wav"
3) open the commentary file (data\match events\events_eng.cfg, or one of the other language files depending on which language you use) and look for any references to music_X.wav (where X is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and replace those with "random_music_10.wav" (if you added up to 10 music files into the new subfolder) or "random_music_20.wav" (if you added up to 20 music files)
While I've never seen the original post itself to be sure which EHM it's talking about, the topic name of the post ABOUT that post was "Modifying sounds in EHM 2007", so.
