NHL connect and Eastside

Post by grazza »

Not sure what section to have this in as it does relate to Eastside. Basically I have joined NHL connect. Now there are loads of hockey fans on there so it could be a great opportunity to promote the game for free. I have therefore set up a group called NHL Eastside Hockey Manager series. I'm hopin I can get a few folk on here to join and then straight away we havea few people and look like a good group. Perhaps even theblueline could have a group on it.

the group link

my profile

I'm not really a fan of social networks but at least this one is a ice hockey one. Could be a chance to try and build up the fanbase of the game. Worth a shot and don't cost anything. So if anyone could join and help boost the numbers that woudl be great

I really hope you didn't mean this the way I read it...

**EDIT: Nevermind. I see what you mean now.

I thought you were ripping on grazza, saying the first person to post to this thread would be an idiot for being interested. Not what you meant at all, my apologies.

Anything that helps develop a larger fanbase for EHM is a good thing. If we can build up enough sustained interest then I don't see why SI can't then consider another version of EHM. 8-)

No idea what that idiot was going on about. You can't expect to get a great game for free. :dunno:

Aye cheers guys. Quite busy with uni at the moment so ain't gonna do too much with it yet. Certainly if anyone from the blue line wants to get involved then I can make them mods on it so just give me a shout if anyone wants to do that. I had thought about putting screenshots etc on it though not sure weither I should ask SI for that. Though I am sure they would be happy for any promotion of the game. Perhaps maybe a few samples from the blue line like stories or blogs etc at some point could go in and make it a facinating read.

Yeah that first guy that posted was ridiculous I clicked the report bad post as it is basically slander saying someone is trying to rip you off without any evidence at all to support it. Anyway ifthat person causes any more trouble I can kick them off the group in it. Apart from that person anyone else I have commented with seemed really nice and fascinated with my perspective of the sport so it ain't all bad.
