Hi guys, I just came across an idea from the Football Manager Handheld forum. I am not sure if this was brought before.
They have something called Legendary Database. Bascially, they put soccer legend like Pele and Maradona in with current players. Of cause, these players can't be created with their original age. Instead, they are all added into the database as 25 year old, in their prime and add them to the team they are most reconginzed with.
In hockey, this translate to putting guys like Gordie Howe and Steven Y with the wings, bobby orr back in the B, Patrick Roy in the Aves, the great one back with the oils, etc etc. You get the idea. We can see how "the great one" and "the next one" will do playing together, or putting Ovechkin and Pavel Bure on the same line.
Having said that, I don't have the skills with the editor or enough hockey knowledge to actually accomplish this. I've seen guys creating db of the 90's and 70's. What's your thought on this fantacy db?

Thats an awesome database, with probably more Hall of famers in it than the 2007-08 NHL linhe ups will have in 20 years!
