I hope by "Bic it" you mean shave it down to the skin with a razor and not actually use a Bic razor. No self-respecting head shaver would ever use a Bic on his head! Trust me, I speak from experience. I've been shaving my head (when I can be bothered... sometimes I let it go a couple weeks) for the past 4 years or so now. Here are the remains in the sink from one time I let it go for too long. :-D

EDIT:

Oh and here's a PIC for Batdad of his boy Lucic having a laugh as he gets his head shaved. He seems to be having fun with it. Kessel looked positively freaked!

Heh! And ... the Vancouver Canucks are dependent upon 3 teams playing brutal hockey over the next few days, and 3 playing well just to make the playoffs.

Those who have to play poorly:

Nashville
Calgary
Edmonton

Yeah sure!

Those who have to play well:

St Louis Blues
Chicago Blackhawks
Vancouver Canucks

Yeah right!

So...when the Canucks miss the playoffs..which they will..what will I do!

Oh yeah...Nope...not cheering for Boston.

Nope...not cheering for Montreal.

Now I remember...relax and enjoy good hockey!

darn, I am going to pray for the Caps to make it, and somewhere along the way get a Caps-Pens series. that would be AWESOME!

Why do you expect the Oilers to play poorly? The Flames already eliminated them yesterday :D And if you expect the Flames to play poorly, you've got a good chance to see it.

Caps-Pens? Why not... But i'd prefer Caps-Habs, to see Huet against his former partners... :D

And you would watch Huet let in goal after goal after goal.

Anyway, Oilers will play poorly cause well...They suck. The only question is, will the Canucks play better than Oiler poor?

And the Flemmes-they will play poorly too...only question is, will the Canucks play better than Flemme-poor?

Didn't you mean shutout after shutout after shutout? :p

It should be summed up by "Luongo or Kipper"? Well, Luongo + (sometimes) the Sedins, or Kipper + Phaneuf + Iginla - Huselius - Tanguay...

One thing the Canucks have in their favor. Kesler and Burrows usually..note the usually...make Iginla's life miserable and render him ineffective.

But it won't matter unless Nashville screws up, and the flemmes lose tomorrow and the Nucks win.

Thank you Sid and Gino :D

grrrrr Brodeur is annoying  Huge goal for Luuuucic tonight though, one point it is.

Big day tomorrow for the Bruins without even playing, there's so many teams we need to root for I need to write it down :help:

Go Leafs, Habs, Isles, Lightning...I think I got everyone

Yes by "Bic It" I meant shiny cue ball bald.

And you have your list mostly right. :) Go Leafs, Habs, Isles and Caps.

I want the Caps in and the Sens out, which means the B's are in. :)

Have to say this:

Jarome Iginla..you are a class act! I have said it before about him, but last nite in Vancouver with Trevor Linden..that was awesome.

Oh, and the Flames all followed him to greet Trevor after the game. So cool. I may even root for those Flemmes in the playoffs.

Yeah, right...sure. Well maybe, if they play the Dead Things or Avalunch.

Oh man this series is gonna be almost as fun as the battles between that Thundercleese guy and myself. Cept more fun...cause I hate both teams. Cept Lucic and Price.

The Habs are going to endless talk about things that the Bruins really don't care about? ;)

:check: This is what the Bruins are going to do to the Habs. It seems much more effective! :fight:

Bunch o'pansies in that series. There is no checking when the Habs and Bruins play. Come on... only when Lucic and that Montreal d-man guy whose name sounds like Komarnisky or something.

Now you want toughness? Watch the Western Conference. East smeest.

Can't wait for Pit-Was next round though.

And here I had always considered the West to be the less physical conference.

Check the top teams in terms of Fights.

1. Anaheim
2. Vancouver
3. Calgary

And I believe a few others!!!

Things have changed...the West is not high flying...with the exception of a few teams yet to move into the DEAL WITH THE DUCKS trend (Detroit, Chicago) the west has become way bigger, way more defensive and way more physical than it used to be.

The East is now hi flying. Washington, Montreal, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, even Carolina, Atlanta...There are exceptions of course (Boston, Buffalo, Philly, Rangers)

Rangers--should be hi flying, but they have really bought into defense. They are a team in the East that could...and I stress could...surprise alot of teams and win the East in the playoffs. They play d-well, and they can score a bit too.

I can see your point about the shifting styles of play between the conferences, batdad. I guess some ideas are just hard to break. I'll always think of the West as more high flying and the East as more physical.

Great news for Boston fans!

http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey/bru ... leare.html

Patrice Bergeron has been cleared to play again! The kid has been busting his hump to come back, never giving up hope. He won't play in game 1 but he could be in the lineup after that! =D>

Wut? Batdad cheering for the Flemmes during the playoffs? You must have been drunk when you wrote that :p

Btw, what happened between Iggy and Linden? I wasn't at home this weekend and couldn't see the game, so...

I'm interested by the Pens-Sens series... The exact same as last year's first round, except that the Pens have the home ice advantage this time. We'll see what the baby Pens learnt from last year's playoffs... and i guess they'll demolish Ottawa!

Habs-Bruins... Old school O-6 classic... Gonna be fun :p

On their side, the Flames take the Sharks... I think that Thornton is the key of that series. If, for once, he performs well in the playoffs, i don't think the Flames will be able to go through the Sharks. If he falls down as usual, Calgary as a real chance.

The Devils-Rangers series should be pretty annoying... Brodeur vs Lundqvist... Not a lot of pucks will go in...

Shadd--AFter the game, likely Linden's last .

utube of: Iginla/Linden end of game

If you listen closely you hear Linden tell Jerome he is the best player in the world.

No worries, likely won't cheer for the Flemmes, but the class in the above is soooooo persuasive.

Bruins will not play pens..sorry B72. Bergeron or no Bergeron.

Actually, it was Danny that said the Bruins will play the Pens in the semifinals. I'm looking for the Bruins to maybe surprise the Habs and make it out of the first round. I'm realistic.
