Do you have any players out on tryout to an NHL team? I've noticed this will cause the game to confuse your salaries. this is only temporary though. When he returns home, all will come back to normal.

I think it has something to do with the NHL team paying "rent" for the player to the owner team, and being NHL, they pay way more than his salary is at Europe.

How ridiculous is that??? My team was leading 8-0 when the other team starts to goon it up. Two seperate line brawls with all four goalies being ejected happen in the third period and MY TEAM forfeits the game because we don't have a goalie to put between the pipes. Just like them, but it's my boys who loose the two points. Ridiculous :D

That's awesome! If this was an NFL sim, I'd say they were talking about Ricky Williams.

I am guessing here..but I will betcha noone has had the kind of NHL debut for a bit player that my Dan Carcillo just had for Phoenix vs San Jose

3 goals---1 power play, 1 shorthanded, 1 even strength
1 assist
1 fight which he won

Regular Hattrick. Mario Lemieux hattrick, Gordie Howe Hatrick...all in his FIRST NHL GAME

Carcillo penalty summary

Carcillo summary

Called him up because my LW's all had low morale. He had superb, even though he was not playing well on the farm..he had a decent last couple of games. Never thought this would happen

He will stay for a bit that is for sure.

Finally...the Coyotes score some goals.

proof is NHL debut

Very cool! You must have been playing him on the first or second line. Great results! Did you change your tactics? That kind of scoring is vastly different than what you had been putting out.

Nope..he started on line four and pk (by accident--he took Kapanen's spot in the lineup which put him in a pk slot automatically. Had I seen him there, I would have pulled him)

Second period moved to line 3. Third period moved to line 1 and pp. RIght away got the pp goal.

And no ---just kept on in my tactic order. (the 3 tactics shuffle)

Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot right now, but the other night on a whim at the start of the World Juniors I was looking at some lesser countries rosters and lo and behold, who should be dressed for Mexico.... Jose Canseco!!! No mention about pre-tournament drug testing, but I do believe a puck went off his head into his own goal in a prelim game.

I also know he's Cuban, so I guess the roids made him so big he now has dual citizenship!

I don't have a pic (sorry), but seeing "unhappy Stoner" I remenbered, playing the Avalanche, I had this (rather naff) prospect called Mitch Love. After making him avaible during training camp, I got two news items: "(My Name) makes Love avaible" and "Love offered around the League" or something along those lines. It cracked me up!

The refs were horrible. I had about 10 penalties and LA only had 3.

I went on to lose that series.
