Goalie individual tactic

Post by KevT90 »

I wonder if it's useful to change some individual tactic parameters for our goalie just like we can do with our others players. I like to change these individuals tactic for the players instead of unit tactic that is more general.

But for goalies, is there any effect if we change for exemple mentality, aggressiveness ????

One more thing is that goalie are set to play the puck as default. Did anyone tried the zone's one ? What kind of goalie should we set to zone or to play the puck, what attributes can have a effect on that ???

thks

I have never got anything good out of making the goalies play the puck, so I always ask them to stay in the net. It's basically how often a goalie will got for the puck when it's behind his net.

Also, I've noticed that most reen goalies have really low stickhandling ability, at least in my saves. It may have something to do with the training. Anyhow, it makes matters worse in this issue.

You can also set yous goalies to encouraged to fight, just for the heck of it. It makes for funny line-brawls.

I don't change anything else.
