I see usually after a 3 or 4 (or more) game winless streak has been snapped.

That breakaway thing happens a lot too, so it might be it. It's still interesting when you look at stats, though.

And maybe it's just me, but even when I win 75 games in a season, I always have a least a 2-games winless streak

This happens a lot when teams g too deep into their debts. So, yeah, teams never bankrupt, always a new owner will take over.

I've seen in my game the Tampa Bay Lightning get a new ownership and get more then 120mi of debts cleared up.

In the Football Manager series, this happens a lot too, but the team always makes a sell out (similar to what Nashville did in the '07 summer), clearing a lot fo salary away.

What a game...

That's what happens when two best teams with two best defenses in the league clashes.

Ovechkin scores 6 points, 5 goals in one game and gets a 9 rating and not even a three star? Pfft.

The game looks at the rating first. Three other guys had 10 ratings. Let's just say that the game's star system is a bit flawed.

Right, I know that.

What I mean is, 5 goals in one game should = a 10 rating.

You mean while they were scoring 0 goals?

The game was won 6-0, it's just kind of funny.

Yes. As an individual: no blocked shots, no hits, no takeaways.

Then again 5 goals should be a 10 no matter how bad he played defensively.

So, yeah... nevermind defense...

Lol. I just thought it was funny.

Regardless, he finished with 130 pts and as the regular season scoring leader, scoring 63 goals, so that's 2 straight 60 goal seasons. I'm okay with that.

My friend is playing with Jokerit, and Olli Jokinen dominated SM-League in season 2011-2012. Wow...

In all my games ive never seen any ''big names'' play abroad

Most well known 1 would be Cory Stillman who was playing in the DEL at like 36-37

I had goals 3 seconds apart (crosby's was an empty net) from Jokinen and Crosby but forgot to save the screenshot.

In my CMB game, the Crunch pasted Grand Rapids and a full line brawl ensued IN AN EXHIBITION GAME!!!! So many penalties were handed out to the Griffins that they has to install a 2nd row of seats in the Pentalty Box!! First time I've seen that many players in the box.

I am playing a hard-nosed defensive style of play where fighting is encouraged with the Leafs  Derek Boogard in 2 minutes 23 seconds gets 34PIM =D>

While I was looking at teams in the CHL before I voted, I came across the next Scotty Bowman, Howie Campbell and about $4!#. His stats must be random, cause I went back through some other saved games and he didn't have the stats to be a scout (much less an AGM) in any of those. Has anyone every seen stats like this on a non-player. This guy makes Lou Lammarello and Ken Holland look like amateurs...Sheesh.

Slightly late but that happens when star players go to free agency and no NHL team has any cap room for them, once they've been without a team for a while they become willing to go to Europe.
