Sorry, trying what further? I think I missed something...

Batdad - try clearing your cookies. Also, reinstall your Java software. Check any ad-blocking software you may run. Do you run any sort of firewall? Have you done anything (i.e. installed/uninstalled, changed settings, etc) between the time it was working to the time it wasn't? Sorry to fire all these questions at ya!

What browser do you run? If you run Firefox, try Internet Explorer - or vice versa.

Hmm... I don't have any player involved in a game until the 9th of October.

Can we change the players daily or is there a limit? Normally, for example, you're only allowed to change your team weekly.

If I understand you correctly...

No acquisitions/drops can be made once the day's first game begins, and no line-up changes can be made for any players whose game has begun. Other than that, you're free to do whatever you want to your team, and whenever... I think.

Just released our pre-season predictions on the league's front page, along with a few trophy predections.

Not highly accurate since they're based on last year's stats, but they're still fun to do. ;)

That sounds like a good idea. Not sure how to do that though. :dunno:

Stinson, that aint good for me. A fair few of my players, (Gagne, Nieds, Foppa, Zubov) were out for most of last year. :-D

Lol.

I got straight owned. 47 pts?

It's because I have Stamkos, Doughty, Bogosian, Berglund, Gilbert... etc.

That's what I get for taking 4 to 5 first year and another 5 second year players =P

Yeah, take them for what they are. There were a handful of teams with first year players, so those teams will be skewed.

I originally wanted to do them based on ESPN's 2009 projections, but they would have been worse, because many of our depth players don't have any. And goalies seem to have lost their's. So, I went with 2008 real stats.

P.S. If you guys go to our standings page, the tables are updated in real-time, so you can watch the league standings be shuffled and updated live. And it looks like our 47 point Love train is hanging around the top of the table as of right now. ;)

Real-time stats appear to be back up.

Nice idea on the team name in our sidebar. My team-TBL user list should be a page or two back, Archi, if you need it.

@ StarboardWinger - did you mean to leave Goligoski on your bench? 20 minutes of ice time, a goal, a PPG and two shots on goal wasted. :headache:

Nice start for the Lovemobile I see. At least I voted for the best drafted team, even if I couldn't pick that team myself.

Also, I love Henrik Lundqvist.

And I think that one powerplay goal alone could have given him the league lead after day two. But there're many more days to come, though. ;)

Kay...so I need a decent goalie. A starter on a decent team. I have edited my trade block and made some inquiries today of a couple of people. I am willing to negotiate to get what I need...so if you don't like the deal...please comment and see if we can work something out. I mean...if they are untouchable players I am after...mark em as untouchable and I won't bother ya...unless its Brodeur.

I have available in these deals Bernier/Bieksa...but am willing to look at anything save Vinny, Joe, Joe in the right deal. Not giving up Paul Stastny unless the deal is a good one...so don't bother with Jason Labarbara for Paul Stastny (or even Bernier Bieksa)

Teams who have starters I would look at:

Montreal (no hope)-Carey Price
Ottawa-Martin Gerber
Buffalo-Ryan Miller
New Jersey (no hope) Martin Brodeur
NY Rangers (no hope) Henrik Lundquist
Philadelphia-Martin Biron
Washington-Jose Theodore
Pittsburgh-MA Fleury
Tampa Bay-Mike Smith
Carolina (no hope) Cam Ward
Chicago-Cristobal Huet
Detroit-Chris Osgood
Columbus- Pascale Leclaire
Vancouver (no hope I think) Roberto Luongo
Edmonton-Matthieu Garon
Calgary-Mikka Kiprusoff
Minnesota-Nikklas Backstrom
Anaheim-JS Giguere
Dallas-Marty Turco
Phoenix-Ilya Bryzgalov
San Jose-(no hope) Evgeni Nabokov

Now...all these goalies will not fetch the same price. I will give up two good players 1F and 1D for some of them...and hopefully we can work something out.

Clearly I do not want goalies from St Louis, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Colorado, Florida,Toronto, Boston, Nashville, NY Islanders...so don't bother.

This is a hockey deal. Lets start working on a big trade guys. Something blockbuster out there would be cool!!!

The guys marked in my book as untouchable will come into consideration to be moved (Lecavalier, Thornton, Sakic) if someone is willing to part with a top 4 or 5 goalie....Those IMHO are

Brodeur
Luongo
Turco
Kiprusoff
Nabokov

So offers for those 3 would need to include one of those 5 players. I will move one for the right trade

Very specific Batdad. I like it.

Unfortunately, I don't think i can offer a good enough deal for you to accept. I have Kippa who could be available if a good goalie came to my team. But i don't see Budaj or Nitty doing enough for me. Although I need some goals, i really would need a goalie involved.

Whats up with LaBarbera :dunno: , I think he could be put up some good numbers this year. :-D

Maybe we could get someone involved in a three way trade? Anyone up for that?

Labarbara prediction...10 wins 40 losses 5 ties. I might get more wins from Niemi... :-D

Oh man, 3 way trades...should we add in a couple of 4th round picks?

Someday...we gotta do a keeper league.
