Extra_config file

I downloaded a facepack where it was written:

"Chairman pictures works only when "DEBUG_MODE" is enabled in EXTRA_CONFIC file."

Can someone explain how to do this. Where should i write in "DEBUG_MODE" and how can i enable it?

This was a difficult problem

Maybe the uploader (Laz) of the file know how to fix it?

Sorry. I totally missed this.

You find the extra_config file from NHLEHM/data/database/Roster_which_you_start_to_use
Open the extra_config with notepad, or any word processing program.
Make new line in the extra_config and type "DEBUG_MODE" in it.
It should look like this then:

Save and start new game.

Does the Debug_mode do anything else?

It shows some more info about the chairmen, and you can see the all player's consistency.

There is probably more, but I haven't really been searching.

You can see player favorite staffs and teams.
Coaches give also negative comments in their player reports.

No.. if seeing consistency and player style without scouting doesn't count.

Just don't enable this in your challenge game. Seeing the consistency of a player is a bit of an advantage.

yup. Even tried turning off Fog of War. Nothin'. I'm using the TBL Unfaked DB.

I think the part you added needs to be at the very beginning of the file, not at the end.

No, you need to edit the extra_config file that corresponds with the DB you are starting the new game with. I mistakenly thought that there was only 1 extra_config file and not 1 for each DB.

I'm glad you solved it. I've been reading down this thread trying to figure out why the heck it's not working even though everything seemed to have been written correctly!!
