Batdad, Kipper doesn't have a good GAA or SV% at the moment, but if you are willing to gamble on that improving. He could be yours for a good price...

Manimal--THat was one hell of a negotiation. Well done! This trade will either kill me completely, or move me up. Oh well...I gave up alot to get different things back. So did you Manimal. Lets see how it goes. Gorges was hard for me to give up. Versteeg too. Clowe, surprisingly was not that hard to give up. We shall see.

I think you may have got me on this one. But well done if you did.

Oh and ARchi.....how de do on your list over there..get a look...this one you will like

It was hard to deal a guy that just scored a hat-trick (Brown) but I think I improved my team with this deal. Hopefully it won't bite me like the last one we did.

Now, if only my goalies started to stop pucka and would be well...

Sorry, Salei doesn't quite swing it for me. What would it take to get Stastny?

Try an offer big guy. Try an offer. I need better goaltending, and something to replace his assists

Believe me, you don't want either of my goaltenders! Looking through my roster, I don't think there is anything I can give back to you to replace his assists without damaging my team. I'd initially offered Carcillo but I think I need to keep hold of him to keep my edge in the PIM points (plus he helps me in a few other categories). I think I'm cooling on the idea of Stastny for the time being.

This is my first season playing this style of fantasy hockey so I'm still learning some of the ropes as such. Somebody pointed out the Max and Pace which is something I've never been aware of before. Looking at my current M&P I need to better manage my roster to get the most out of the potential points I could get from my players. Judging from the M&P of other teams, I'm not the only one going over the limit:

The first table is in order of league position and the second is in order of average.

Sometimes...all it takes is an injury to fix it. I am really not in the elast bit concerned at this time being a few over. It has been coming down every day basically since the season began....

I'm a bit worried about it. But,as Batdad said it only takes an injury to correct it.
I don't wanna start benching players only to have them score in bunches

They both came back, and managed to stink it up real good as did all the Nucks. Maybe better to have em injured.

Okay...I am bit worried about the activeness of some of the owners in the league. Guys who are in the bottom half in particular don't seem to be involved at all. They are not trying to improve their team.

I realize that this is normal in every online hockey thing. Some guys are more involved than me. However...in this type of a league noone is out of it yet. We are not even at the half way point.

In particular, with the game limits set in, and most of the top 10 over their limits in at least 1/2 the areas...you would think that the bottom guys would be looking to make moves to improve their teams. I know injuries can cause problems as can real life...but it would be nice to see a trade attempt from someone other than

manimal, getzlaf and D88 and me. Or at least a response to a proposal.

I've been using the trade block to know what going on but not everyone does that since i'd tried to trade for a couple of players but i didn't even get a response (at least 3 times). Anyway i'd like to thanks everyone who actually respond to my trade proposals even to say no. ':-k'

Yeah..same goes here. The trade block is important. I would really like guys just to take a minute and go in every week and edit at least who is UNTOUCHABLE on your team.

Little frustrating indeed, but i guess people just aren't as interested in us... :dunno: Can we change the trade block titles from 'On The Block' into "Tradeable" and from 'Untouchable' to "Hard to Get". :-D

Batdad, please do not think that i am ignoring your trade, i am merely pondering... :-p

I think it's the nature of some of these competitions we run; there is a lot of initial interest but it dies down - either because people get bored or they have less time to play. I don't think there's much we can do about that :dunno:

With regards to my own team, I am planning to make a trade or two but it takes a lot of time weighing up who to send and receive. I'm finding that this game involves a lot of thinking!

The reason because I'mnotso active anymore is because of that I've a lot do in school and because of that I don't have time to follow the NHL as much I would like to do so I don't know which players is hot or not.
