EHM 07- 2007 Draft guide

Post by sck15 »

Does anyone know where i can find a draft guide to 2007, im having a lot of trouble finding decent players. The only one ive got is Ryan Wilson, and he doesnt have defense attribute, its like hes more suited to be a winger.

Don't use a guide, get your scouts looking at the draft a couple of months before it starts, have 5 scouts go intensive on it. Then come draft day you can go on the view button and set it to show the ratings of all your scouts. Thats how to pick the players, and I wouldn't give much strength to their currant atributes, although if its hards to decide between 2 take the higher currant stats.

Ryan Wilson I happened to have in my game and at age 24 he's having his first year in the league. He's got good offensive ratings but fairly evenly spread over all attributes. He was only a 4th round pick though, so I doubt he's someone to use your first round pick on unless his strengths vary a lot from game to game.

there is no draft guide, because so many players have random attributes and are different from game to game. You just have to scout well, and know what makes a good player. Ryan Wilson is a well known VERY overrated player in the original database. Not sure if Lidas's version has corrected this as I have not looked yet.

Since the game randomly generates so much information when you start, it would be virtually impossible to say what a given player's worth will be. Make sure you have at least 3 scouts who have 85+ (17+) in judging potential and work the rubbish out of them. If your scouts don't have elite judgment attribs, their advice can be spotty. Even then, there are no guarantees.
