For the NHL its pretty obvious who to sign etc, but for some reason (i can't think why.. ..) none of them want to come and play in Sheffield.. .... ... lol...
So, as a pretty recent noob to the game who should I be looking to sign for 'The Sheffield Steelers'...
I signed Andrew Hemmings & Gary Wishart, Hemmings got 9 points in 11 games for me(was over a point a game but lost some form after he played for GB U-20's) I'm also trying to sign Daniel Scott but can't afford the transfer fee
Prft off to a shocking start with my hometown Hull Stingrays team. Currently 1-6-0. Thats also after sacking Rizk, Schollar and Chmberlain and replacing them with Bellemare, Lynch and Brittle.

Theres a brit called Steve Thornton who's very good. Adam Calder scores loads of points, worth getting him. Also good choices who aren't the best but come cheap are Gregor Slak and Kurt Irvine
Thought I'd get this topic back up and running as I'm short of signing targets myself. A few guys who have worked well for me when I've played as Steelers are Sean O'Connor, Sean Collins, Alexander Hult and Aleksei Kochegarov. They can be hard to get though, I only managed to get them because they were released. Anyone else got any good players for the EIHL, or even EPL?
Man I'll bet Sean Collins was hard to get. I could never get him to join my AHL team!
There's a guy named J.J. McGrath who is a real speed demon and somewhat of a sniper who is British and comes cheap, but he just up and quit my team yesterday. Was unhappy, claiming I victimized him (for what I don't know), and after scoring a goal in something like his 5th straight game, decided to put in his 2 weeks notice. I'd never seen anything like that before in EHM.
I currently have the aforementioned Hemmings, but I haven't gotten much out of him and like you said, he's at the U-20's now.
Some other decent British guys to sign are Andrew Howarth, Matthew Myers, and Lee Lansdowne isn't shabby as a British backup goalie.
