One of my savegames started giving me this error dialog a day or two ago. Latest updated software patch and no custom stuff installed. Drives have all been freshly defragged and error checked (no problems) and there's over a GB free on this particular drive. I believe it's just this savegame...any idea if I can fix the problem?
In your message, it talks of a 3.0.2 version. It seems that you now have the latest patch (aka 3.0.4). Maybe that this causes a problem on the saved games.
It's known that it's always better to start a new game when you install a new patch, but it would normally work with an old saved game.
Anyhow, you would have a more precise feedback by posting this on the SI boards
It sounds like your saved-game is corrupted. Maybe you run other software whilst playing EHM, e.g. a web browser? I suppose that might possibly cause corruption whilst saving.
A game saved with 3.0.2 should be absolutely fine in 3.0.4. The reason it's recommended to start a new game with a new version is because a game started with an earlier version will still contain the bugs of that earlier version (the newer version can only gradually fix the bugs in a game started with an older version).
I agree with Shadd's advice: Try contacting Graeme Kelly at SI Games. He might be able to tell you whether/how your game can be rescued.
Yes, the savegame was definetly corrupted. I updated to 3.0.4 and started all over again and have not had a similar problem since. Thanks for the advice!
I have all the latest updates etc playing on 3.04 and using Lidas' rosters, but this always happens, I just went to load up my new dynasty after the old one had this problem (3 seasons I lost) and my new one now is corrupt and I can't load it.
The 3 seasons one I was really enjoying and the new one I was enjoying to...But now I have to start again...I really dont want to.
Any suggestions?
Do you mean play EHM with nothing else open? Or save it with nothing else open?

Unfortunately, save games can get corrupted from time to time. It's just something that happens.
It is the same as the one posted in the first post, I understand it happens time to time, but it happens a little frequent to be just a one off kinda thing. For some reason I can't get rolling saves to work?
