Stuck on the News screen

This may be a very silly question, and I've tried searching for any helpful hints, but have thus far come up empty handed and was hopeing someone here could help me out.

How do you get past the news icons that have the 'red' icon beside them?

I made a trade offer to team, they rejected it but countered with another offer. It shows up now with a little red icon instead of green or yellow, and every time I try to click 'continue' it always brings me back to this one news item of their counter offer. It always stays as 'unread' too.

I can't figure out how to accept, counter back, reject...nothing...I can't move on until I figure this out.

No...you are stuck becuase you still have something up that you need to "okay" or "cancel. Hit backscreen and you will find. It happens with practice, scouting, tactics...all kinds of screens. You just need to hit the back arrow.

That's what my back arrow brings me back to...the same news story about the counter trade offer by a team.

I can go on vacation and more game will sim, but every time I come back, it still wont let me manually continue because it seems like I have something to do regarding that one trade offer a team made me.

I just in the screen of the counter offre you should have to the low left a Negociate button, just clik and go cancel the trade is simple as this

If it's not that sorry but i don't know

I don't have a negotiate button...that's the strange thing. It seems like it is waiting for me to negotiate this specific trade offer, but I can't find a way to negotiate it. If I go back into the trade center, and click on the Islanders (the team who offered me the trade) it has a fresh trade screen and I can propose a new deal, it doesn't bring up the offer they just sent me.

I will send you a screen shott. The Continue and Back buttons aren't available...and the forward button just goes to the main Front Office Screen and back to the news again.

I appreciate the help!

lucky for you in a way..i just did 1.5 months of ehm, then I went to a game and viewed it and it got stuck on 2:16 in the first period and wouldn't move
