Option to turn on "window"

Post by TomBlain »

I've been playing EHM for a while now. When I load it up in Windows, I have to hit CTRL+TAB to access another program because it takes control of the whole screen. In someone's screen shot in another thread (that I lost now) I noticed that he/she had EHM opened in its own window so you could close, minimize, move the window, etc.

I'm sure there is a start up option to run it like this, and its more of a windows or command line thing than it is EHM, but could someone please share with me how to do this? Thanks!

Let me guess that you are using Vista?

In this thread you can find the answer on your problem:

I'm sure there's a thread on this, but I couldn't find it on search so we'll keep this open, for now.

You have to have Windows screen resolution higher than 1024x768 and then go to preferences and un-tick the "Run Fullscreen" option to make EHM go into windowed mode.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I'm going to have to visit this forum more often.

Nope, I'm on XP Professional.

But I am running at 1440x900. So where is this "Run at Full Screen" preference? Is this at the start menu of the game?

If you're in the game and you go to "Options" and then "Preferences", you should see a "Full Screen" check box under the "Display" section.
