Is it me or does the game just hate the Leafs?

Post by lbpress »

I've been playing 07 for the past 6 months. I've done some junior teams and AHL as well but I have been the GM of the Leafs for the past 3 seasons. Year 1 we just missed the playoffs but the future looked good. Year 2 I finish 6th in the division and after the first game of the opening round Sundin, St Louis and Zetterberg go out with injury. Year 3 I finish 2nd. Game 1 of the opening round, Sundin, Scott Hannan and Kiprosoff go out with injury.

I have 2 great trainers. I only play an overload system if I am down going into the 3rd period. Once I clinch a playoff spot I play my offense and defense at equal and my backup plays more than he normally would to give my starter a bit of a break (not too much). I never run intense practices except for training camp.

Am I doing something wrong or does the ghost in my machin just hate me.

Maybe you need fighter, who protects your best players. I got same thing about 3weeks ago in my Minnesota save, i droppen all fighters from my rosters, that was good thing. I was second in my Conf. But when playoff time: Mikko Koivu and Gaborik injured. etc...

But try to look HOW they got injured, like in dirty hits, or in practice.

Buy Boogaard! or Ruutu! BTW: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79ZSENwD1Gk

Well the game is so advanced it's adapted it's own feelings and opinions though those opinions are those of everyone else on the world that it just by instinct hates the leafs.

Another thing that could be important is how many medical staff you have, if you just have one guy, it's not enough, since i read a certain thread ( don't remind where ) i've always played with one guy, since i read the thread i play with 2 medical staff and i have way less injured than before, so check this out. :-)
