Where to go after the UHL

Post by stealingsilver »

I never really have got into this game untill now.

I am about to win the UHL in my first season and want to move on to bigger and better things.

I do not really know the ins and outs of the leagues as I am from the UK. I have all North american leagues loaded.

Please suggest in which league I should apply for a job.

Is it just UHL, CHL, ECHL, AHL and NHL selected?

Then try to apply for a team in CHL or ECHL, as they are closer in reputation. If you have the canadian juniors selected go to either OHL, WHL or QMJHL.

The best to do if you play in the canadian leagues is to stick with your team and your prospects. If you aren't trying to sign a overage player they are 19-20 years old and can be signed by any team in any of the three leagues/regions.

EDIT: To clarify the overage thing. If you're in the 2007/2008 season the earliest your players can be born is 1987, 08/09 it's 88 and so on.

Good ladder of the playable leagues is in TBL EHM GUIDE here. I guess you should apply for job a bit higher then is your current league reputation. So in your case it could be propably reputation 8-9. But you can always try higher reputation...

Cheers guys,

After my first season I managed to get a job in toronto's AHL team.

So what is a contract buyout?
