That depends on how much more talented than DE :-D

My guy is projected to be more talented version of Sergei Samsonov with slower stride and there are impressions of him like "a superb agitator", "will take the hit for the good of the team" and "a magician in creating plays". Me gonna luv this kid!

He was projected to produce 40+40 in 50 games and he got 27+38 in 40 games so he is about in schedule in that too. AvR is still a bit low (7.30 in the end of the season), but that doesn't tell so much by itself. +/- -rating of +39 tells much more, while this guy is on ice the puck stays near the net of opposing team.

First Line potential, Like Alex Semin with defensive instinct... but with a slower stride and a smaller frame!
I can deal with that ;)

First line potential, but a better and slower version of Erik Christiansen, who needs to work on his defense. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to react to that, I'm good, yet terrible at the same time!

I am *Like Daniel Alfredsson*

I think that's a good sign.

Now I know if my guy shoots it at an all-star defenseman, then I won't be surprised. :-D

Meh - a more talented version of Steve Sullivan with a slower stride and ratings like:

1st Nov 2007 Sun County 9 6 5 11 8 12 0 7.00
1st Jan 2008 Sun County 26 21 19 40 14 36 0 7.27
1st Mar 2008 Sun County 43 36 29 65 26 48 0 7.30
1st May 2008 Sun County 50 37 31 68 25 52 0 7.16

do not really inspire me to believe this incarnation of me is going to make it. Its funny that I could have 68 points in 50 games and be rated 7.16. My team must really suck otherwise.

Also a question - I was drafted by Seattle apparently, but am playing for something called Sun County - is that the same thing?

The only Sun County that I know of plays out of the Alliance Pavillion League in Ontario. I find it odd that you'd go from a British Columbia team to an Ontario team, unless it's an affiliate.

Oh wow, my ratings jumped up to 8.88 at best! Scouting report says 1-2 potential, more talented version of Joni Pitkänen. But I'm worried, it says I got signed to Karhu-Kissat jrs at 1st May. They're like a div 2 team, that's seriously gonna ruin my development!

Thanks once more Calv, I think this is really fun!

Wow, Ilya Kovalchuk with a slower stride. I am impressed with myself!

And now I was drafted #6 overall by the Kitchener Rangers. Living in Guelph right now, I can see the Storm fans not giving me a good reception when I visit them in a Rangers uniform.

I wanna play Canadian Junior! Regret playing in England now... 38 game seasons can't be good for my development.

Not complaining at being a smaller Danny Alfredsson though. :-D

I'm happy with the way my scouting report turned out. The one thing that bothers me is my player's height. He's really short and that's not how I intended him to be. I must have messed up the conversion of inches to centimeters when I made up his sheet. He should be about 6'0" at this point, 5'10" at the least.

I'm still 5 ft 5 inches, weighing just 141 lbs.

My scout report should say, like Rey Mysterio! :-D

Has me as a small defenseman.

Lame!

I wanted to be big!

I love the projection though.

Has anyone actually grown or gained weight in the career yet? I too am stuck at the same height/weight. Maybe the future of the NHL is about to get small-sized.

Hmm.. I'm a

More Talented version of Dany Heatley
1st line potential

Wonder how likely that is to pan out...

Just noticed I need to "improve my decision making and consistency"

Looks like I could be a Yashin or Brendl

DEMAND A TRADE!

hahaha.

I'm projected to be a more talented version of Marian Hossa with a slower stride. I need to pick up the pace and grow a LOT!

First line potential. More talented version of Marian Gaborik. Looks like I could turn out good.

I need to work on consistency though :(

Calv, it looks like you mixed up my stats with someone else's. My American winger has the stats of a European goalie!!

I'd also love to know who drafted me! :)

Overall, I'm fairly happy with the scouting report. Wish I had made my guy faster though. Probably why I'm just a potential second rounder.

Yeah, I'm still 5-3. And I'm sort of built along power-forward lines, or at least, I tried to be. Ah well. I can imagine myself going through some tall-ish NHL defensemen later on in my career when I've built up more strength, and that amuses me.

And, wow! My guy really pulled it together this year. Not fantastic, but compared to last year, great. Never a -, always with more points than games, and with an average rating always above 7.50. Such a far cry from last year. XD

Like Gionta with a slower stride scares me, though, because of what my Pittsburgh friend always tells me about him. XD Still, in EHM terms alone, pretty hopeful about it, and I've also got the 1st line potential and the scouting report that doesn't seem to think I can do any wrong.

Now I just need to find out more about Kingston, so I can at least do a decent job as temporary fan.

Bleh, I like the general impressions but I'm not thrilled about my 5-6 potential and the comparison to a smaller, slower, poor man's Kimmo Timonen...

The fact that my production did not improve at all from my first season worries me but atleast I'm taking fewer penalties.

Also, my PIM went from 44 to 84 in the last 4 games? I hope that's supposed to be 48. :-D
