Anyone know what's going on with my game? I've been kind of busy over the last few weeks, so I haven't been able to regularly try getting on, but the occasional time I have, it keeps telling me The online game "xx.xx.xx.xxx" could not be joined. I just turned my firewall off completely, and it didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

A) Either you are typing in the wrong IP
b) the game is down, or the IP has changed
c) you don't have the right port open (although, that's almost never a problem for players, only for hosts)

Yeah, I'm a total Lidstrom.

B sounded like the probable cause, so I just went through the 400 something unread emails on my yahoo account looking for a warning about a new IP.

Sure enough, there was one. :oops:

So, kids of the TBL future: if you get this error, check to see if the IP has changed.

Yeah, my yahoo account was created just so I could use Windows Messenger... so I usually forget I even have it. My Verizon account is my main email.

Scared of getting spam through msn? You should be able to use your verizon account over msn...
