Honestly i don't think a Canadian team will win the cup this year.....again. But i think it's the first time since a couple of year that maybe all the Canadian team will MAYBE be able to get a playoff spot.
The Sens will be better, they are already better without Heatley. Toronto, if they make the playoff, it will be at the 8 spot and certainly will have their playoff spot within the last 4-5 game of the season. Calgary and Vancouver can make it again like last year, as the Canadien. Edmonton just miss the playoff by what, 4 points last year? With some players that improve with the last season they can get the 8 spot.
This is just speculation, i'm not saying this will happen, but i think we got a chance to see that.

Well, since I've been gone for a bit I suppose I'll have to be an ass and bump this a bit just to post my predictions.
I think it is now or not in another 15 years for Chicago, considering the cap troubles they will have in this summer and the next one, I also like the team they have right now so I think they will reach the finals.
I think Washington will take the other place in the finals, can't think of any other team in the league that is likely to have 3 players reach 100 points in the regular season. A bit weak on D and their goaltending with Varlamov and Theodore is a question mark but I think they might just make it there by following the "one more goal" approach.
Who of those two teams would win the cup? Heart says Blackhawks, so I'll have to go for that.
