The AI are always dump and make their prospect play just after they draft him.....but what's make me sick is that the AI are always able to well develop their player even is they pass some step. But the 2-3 time i tried it, i mess-up my player.
Usually they let them play in the NHL only if the avarage rating is good. It doesn't really matter if the player is young. If he plays well he will stay in the team. And his development won't be hurt because of a very simple reason: the avarage rating.;)

Never underestimate the power of the avg rating. The key to success in EHM is to keep that rating good but not too good.

That's what i do now. But my friends who play and some thread i've read says that it's better to always let your prospect do a AHL year even if he got a 9.35 rating in is junior league.....so even if my prospect doing more than well in the OHL, i'm to scared to make them to the NHL right now because i don't want to mess up is potential.

Even if the goalie would be 10 years old he would still play better than that Norwegian guy. :-D

And now to continue to saga that is the Coyotes' goaltending.

In 76 games, he allowed 327. The Coyotes allowed 420 goals this season. They managed to score 276 goals, which would explain why they managed to win about 25 games. The Coyotes also had a Penalty Killing % of 73.07

Amazingly, Columbus actually did worse. 20-53-9 228GF 352GA

Their new goalie, who is a definite improvement.

To continue the saga of the Phoenix Coyotes, which is starting to go from hilarious to sad.

The Coyotes' history, in which they have finished dead last in the West 7 of the last 10 years, and allowed 300+ goals for 9 straight seasons.

Image

And guess which one of these teams is affiliated with the Coyotes...

45 points in 2025-26 :-o That's very bad. Maybe next year they make under 100 goals :-D

San Antonio is good farm team, 5 wins in 80 games :-D

Good pics =D>

You'd think with that many last place finishes, they would have gotten at least 2-3 can't miss prospects from the draft. Sheesh.

And Buttman still won't let them move!!! LOL!!!

What a struggle for the Yotes. LOL since 2019-2020 the team really sucks my god. Like Hypnotist said wha tare they doing with their draft picks? They got the worst scout team in the NHL or what? With that amount of pick in the top 4 they should have build a powerful young team.

The 5 victory in 80 games really make's me laugh. :-D

Check the Coyotes personnel. There's a small bug that creeps up where a team loses all its coaches and scouts. If this is the case, you can remedy it by taking over the team, then immediately retiring. The team will snap back and begin hiring coaches and scouts and spending money on FAs again.

What do you mean by that? Is for exemple the contracts of their coaches are finish and they didn't resign anybody so they got some ''replacement'' coaches and they overall are really bad?

Looks like that is exactly what has happened

Once Glen Gulutzan gets fired I'll step in. Luckily I stepped down from the Flames and I'm just letting the game run so I can see how some of my young prospects turn out.

He may never get fired. He's probably been there for years. I'd step in right away, or, create a new GM, take over the team, then retire immediately. Then you'd probably be offered the job.

Nah, it seems every once a while, a team gets "stuck" and when the contracts of their coaches expire... they don't hire anyone new. Their personnel looks like the screenshot above. The ripple effect of that is that they don't sign their draft picks, they don't sign free agents and roll a junk team that's at the salary floor. So, in your game, if you notice a team that wins like 10 games a year, check them for this bug. It's easily fixed.

It actually appears to have fixed itself. The Coyotes now have a full staff of coaches/scouts.
