Post by Baccius81 »

Hello!!

I´m new here but not in the game....

I have created Swedish rinks.. Both Elitserien and Allsvenskan.

And I have added them too the site. But still no sign of it or any word from any of the moderator..

Do you have too be a big time member too add any files or???

Dear Baccius, sorry to say that but some of your rinks look horrible. You had a great thing in doing a "new" addon for uncommon leagues but i think it'd be a better thing if you redo em. I am willing to help you, contact me if you want to.

PS Minty, you have forgot to moderate Baccius' HoF points ;)

That's bang out of order, KH. :thdn: I think his rinks are fine; especially for a first time effort.

I've installed his rinks and am grateful that they're no longer the standard plain ices.

I say keep up the good work, Baccius!

Which were the rinks that I saw on Susie a while back that had superb looking sponsors at each end of the ice behind the goals, as well as the centre ice logo. I think they were from the DEL league if I remember correctly. Does anyone else recall?

We've had some rinks that have had problems in converting to the different way that 2005 draws/sizes it's rinks so 2004 rinks you'd have seen at Susie would have to be remade from scratch. Just resizing 2004 rinks to fit the 2005 ice markings surface results in a gap between the boards and rink lines due to the aspect ratio of the old rinks.

I converted all of mine early on because I (if you look at my rinks template) had all of my logos as separate layers in a single file so I only needed to adjust and then resave them atop the new ice surface.
