How to change retirement

How to change retirement

Hello, i dont know if this is the right section to ask in.. my english isnt the best!

My question is, how do i change when i player will retire?


i've been looking everywhere in the editor and i cant find it.. the players i would like to change retirement for is Markus Naslund and Peter forsberg.. now playing for modo!


can some1 explain for me how do do?

Im using Eastside UK pre-game data editor 2007 version.

Hey Mattias, welcome to TBL!

You can't change when a player will choose to retire as such. I suppose if you wanted a player to continue playing for several more years then you could use the extra_config.cfg file to set a player to retire in ten years' time, for example. I've never tried something like this (I have only used extra_config to set a player to retire when the game starts rather than far into the future).

However, if the player is already retired when you start the game then you can use the Pre-Game Editor. Find the player in the editor that you want to "un-retire" and click on the "Contract Details" tab. There is a drop down menu titled "Job for club"; change this from "retired" to "player".
