What about Hollweg, is he really that good in reality? I don't have any clue about him in reality, but in the game he becomes the best pest with a pretty darn good skillset.

I'm not very familiar with the real life Hollweg and his skills but I tend to agree with you. I'm guessing he's overrated in the game.

Yeah, Hollweg is a plug, and should rarely get signed at the AHL level. GROSSLY overrated.

He may be a plug, but he is playing in the AHL right now, and has played in both NHL and AHL the past two years. Prior to that was basically a regular 4th liner in NHL. So...he absolutely SHOULD be an AHL level player, or a fringe 4th liner.

This isn't a really big deal, but I feel Marian Gaborik's stats might not be 100% accurate.

I can't possibly find a reason why his speed would be given an 18, as he is probably one of if not the fastest players around the NHL. In fact, probably one of the only players I've seen match his ability on skates is an early Scott Niedermayer. Enver Lisin especially, while being an incredibly fast player, should not be outskating Gaborik. He should have a high speed, 19 if not 20, top acceleration, decent balance, mixed with a superb offensive ability and great skill for waiting for a perfect time to strike with a shot.

The skating ability of alot of players is off big-time in comparison to others. This is for sure due to insufficent scouting because of Lidas crazy way huge workload. He must have worked his butt off to make the updates and there is a reason he made a thread for suggesting corrections. It would be great if someone could suggest tweaks in skating skill for every team in the league to make it realistic, but the good thing with speed is that it changes so easily with some training.

I will do a big charting of players in need of tweaking soon, so Lidas prepare. ;)
When do you aim to release the next one and do you want to take this seasons play in consideration when tweaking players, or should I stay with the pre 09/10 base?

I'm prepared

Next release will be sometime next year - February perhaps...
If you want to, you can take the current season into consideration too, but stats shouldnt be based on this season alone - players have ups and downs, and thus earlier seasons should be taken into consideration too.

So here's some Windsor Spitfires nitpicking.

- Troy Passingham should be 6'5". He's a big boy.
- Reassign Dale Mitchell to the Spits. Also, he and Cundari need some docking in sportsmanship; both of them got sent home after 40 minutes by Boughner himself for incredibly undisciplined play during a game.
- Taylor Hall should be more of a shooter. He's doing almost a goal per game. Also, he's not that good a centre.
- Adam Henrique needs a bit of a boost. He's doing almost two points a game and is second in league scoring behind Hall. Granted, being on a line with Hall helps too.
- Jesse Blacker and Ben Dubois should be moved to Owen Sound. In return Windsor got Paul Bezzo and Owen Sound's 2nd, 3rd and 12th round draft picks in 2010 and a 2nd-rounder in 2012.

Probably not a big deal but Jonas Gustavsson for the Maple Leafs is only making a salary of around $910,000 this year and then will be RFA, not $2.4 million ... yet !
Great update, appreciate all the hard work to keep this up each year.

In the game Francois Beauchemin is an enforcer. (Off Role: 10, Def Role: 16)
I think he should be more of an offensive defender. (Off Role: 16, Def Role: 14)
Here´s some other suggestions for him:
Aggression: 13 (-2)
Consistency: 10 (-2)
Decisions: 9 (-2)
Leadership: 14 (+5)
Pass Tend: 12 (-2)
Vision: 11 (+2)
Hitting: 13 (-2)
