can someone still buy this game?

Post by dvsman »

I mentioned EHM2007 to a few co-workers and they said they couldn't buy it or their e-licences wouldn't work. Did I steer them wrong?

It should still be available. I just went to the SI website and it's there.

http://www.sigames.com/downloads.php?type=game&id=24

They wouldn't have it there if it wasn't still available for purchase.

No. It's been the same price since it came out and I don't imagine it changing.

Arguing about it isn't going to change the price though. Sports Interactive has chose not to lower it's price. That is the only place to buy the game. They didn't print copies of the game and sell them to stores. They sold it as a direct download only. They really don't care if they sell anymore copies. It's a dead game to them. The reason you're able to get a game like NHL 2004 for cheap is because they made a certain number of copies of that game and there is probably a surplus. They're trying to sell them off. It's two totally different situations.
