Forum rules

Waiver draft???

Hey, I just read part of Archi's (I hope u dont mind :oops: ) guide and I have noticed something....

Iam playing right now the 2.13 version and there isnt the waiver draft anymore!!! Is that right??? Or do I have a bug in the game???

I can remember playing the game with a waiver draft, but I think it was also before the patch, right???

Can I assume that there isnt any waiver draft in real life anymore??

So many questions, I know....thanks in advance!!!

Yea, the new CBA did away with the waiver draft, IMO it really was a waste of time anyway. Just a time to trade your goons for other goons.

They removed the waiver draft as part of the NHL rule changes following the new CBA. I can't remember the reason for removing the draft but I'm sure someone else can tell you.

It was the patch released around early September that removed the waiver draft in EHM (I think it was patch 2.1.1 or was it called 2.1.0? :-k ).

Archie: dont know if this helps you, but I have only downloaded the first and the last patch....and suddenly waiver draft was no more :-D ....it must have been in one of these...

Yeps, I was :shock: when I saw all these answers sooo quick!!! :-D

....and I also noticed that I just passed from "Junior Leaguer" to "Prospect" :joy:

EDIT: I wanted to say Junior, not Minor...

Heh, I think it is. I was a little confused when I just re-read this thread and I had to scroll down to see my post! I'm sure those posts weren't then when I posted :-D
