.exe erorr when launching EHM 2007

Post by Hybrid_Theory_79 »

So I did the search and couldn't find anything.

For whatever reason EHM 2007 just decided to stop running. So i erased off my computer, re-installed and still get the same .exe error message.

AppName: ehm2007.exe AppVer: 3.0.1.5242 ModName: ehm2007.exe
ModVer: 3.0.1.5242 Offset: 005db797

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just got exactly the same problem with slightly different numbers. Yesterday it was working. Suddenly it isn't.

Does this program "phone home" at all when it loads? Because the only different is that I have a new firewall (which is not reporting anything).

Should add I have just uninstalled and re-installed and the error remains. I can't play the game

It would appear to me that you're not patched to 3.0.4, is that correct?

If so, try patching to 3.0.4. I don't know if this will fix anything, but it's worth a shot.

Sadly, yes, I reinstalled and re-patched (twice - once as normal and once trying without the firewall) and it still won't load.

I am baffled. I'm also quite upset as I was just about to shoehorn Columbia into the playoffs

OK, this is weird. I had pretty much given up hope of the game ever working again when today I suddenly got the urge to try loading it again...there a pause and it works.

All I can really say is, "Thank goodness for that"!!

Here we go again - it's not working.

I had to re-install Zone Alarm and it stopped: no idea what the problem is but it is definitely linked, as the first time I installed ZA I had this problem.

I've left it a while in case it mysteriously starts working again but no luck so far
