I deleted my Affiliations file, and gave it a new blank file, and it loads in game properly, all affiliations gone
but the problem is that the pre game editor wont load, so I cant add new ones
does anyone have a process or a work around that doesnt involve editing every affiliation to two random teams that dont exist?

Re: Blank Affiliations file
I'm thinking it could be one of two things:
1) Did you update index.dat after you created the blank file? If not, download the Index Updater, place it in the same folder as your DB and run it (using the Run as Admin setting if you're in C:\Program Files\...etc).
2) If the above doesn't work, it'll be because the editor doesn't like there being zero records (I found the same issue if I try deleting all staff and/or all players - hence my Blank DB includes a couple of existing staff). You'll need to add one record to the affiliations file in order for the Editor to be happy. In which case, try the following:
2a) Download this and replace your existing affiliations.dat file with it.This is something I have made just now (and so I haven't tested it), but it should give you just the one affiliation. Hopefully this should be enough to get your DB loaded in the Editor. You can then change it to whatever you want.
2) Run the Index Updater as mentioned in 1) above. This will ensure index.dat is correct (as this needs to be updated whenever you manually add/remove records from a DB dat file).

Re: Blank Affiliations file
Yeah, I ran the indexer
And yeah that worked
You should put it in the Blank database folder when you get a chance, this could be useful to have, thanks
