EHM 2007.exe error

After having problems with my cd rom i had to go fix the registry so then i go to open ehm07 and then i get this error..

Error Signature
Appname: ehm2007.exe
Appver: 3.0.4.6318
Modname: ehm2007.exe
Mod ver: 3.0.4.6318
Offset: 005e8874

I have also reinstalled it and copied all of my files from the old directory to the current one... would it have to do with the exe file and not to copy that file over..

I don't quite understand the copying involved. :-? Just uninstall, then delete your EHM folder, and then install the game. Don't copy any files over and see if that works.

seems that every time i go to update my game with the 3.0.4 patch the game crashes...
