The Oilers will find the season long again this year!! Another 6 goals score against. I think they are at like 20 already in 3 games.
Also, the Florida Panthers got a crowd of 7000 people at their last home game. That's more than awful. The reporter who mentioned that said that from the top of the building he could hear Gallant calling his lines.
Oilers hate their coach. Ramsey brought in because he is a player guy. But...they still hate. Doesn't help them that RNH gets hurt against Van...well Hamhuis...and they have a 5'2 #1 centre now. Oh and Eberle got hurt in that game too. NOtice something about way teams play Edmonton for oh....3 years now. Hit them hard, they go away.

Yes the arena looked REALLY empty while watching the highlights.
AIIIITAKAKAKAAKTALLIIIIIOOOO may be good, but he is not a proven starter at all. Neither is Pickard. Look at the rosy side of the street all you want, but the kid is the #4 goalie for the avalanche right now, and with 3 of the 4 ahead of him...that is not saying much. SO..... until he proves himself, trouble. Tommy Salo was supposed to be good, so was that Toskala guy. Well....
I read that Voynov got arrested in an history of domestic violence and now he's suspended by the Kings. What do Russians players have with their girlfriends?
Suspended by NHL not the Kings. My how a year makes a difference. Last year NHL had nary a comment, this year after the NFL issues...out comes the hammer. Which should have come out last year for Varlamov, but did not. A suspension until we know what happened, and what the courts say is a great idea for PUBLIC RELATIONS. Had they not done this their would have been an outcry.
In the background NHL will be telling Voynov and Kings that they had to do this because of the NHL issues, and not guilty until he is proven so, but have to do it. Which is true...they had to do it. NFL mess left them in no way able to get out of it.

Yeah I thought about it too. It's good in some ways if the NHL starts to take those case more seriously.

Nothing bad has come from being influenced purely by pressure of the media, right....
Slightly OT - I just published this translated interview with Sergei Fedorov about his time in Detroit, his trades, and a lot of interesting stuff from that period, a good read for hockey history enthusiasts http://bit.ly/1FOJec9
And by the way good interview! Though I don't know why but the part with Burke and his brother was...weird to me. Always thought his brother was an ok player and that was why he did not make it far.
