General Manager Options

Post by Mike Lowe »

I checked the 2007 guide, but I couldn't find specifics on what each item on this screen means.

I'm trying to set things up so that my coach will do the coaching, including setting all lines, tactics, etc. How should I have things then?

Seems later when I try and "ask coach" for tactics, everything stays listed as "normal" or some variation similar to that.

Also, to not clutter up the forum, why are certain options somethings grayed out? I can't try to sign a FA suddenly, because it's grayed out?!

Coaches do not set tactics I dont think

but for your coach to set all lines just clear your line before a game then ask your coach to fill the roster

or you can say no to "Coach games yourself" but im not sure that changes the roster

But I guess you could turn all the bottom ones to no so the coach will take charge when you're on vacation then vacation through the games

You can have your coach set Tactics, choose player on roster and pick his own lines.

General Manager Options-> *Use current tactics No
*Use current team selection when possible No
*Use current lines when possible No

By setting those to No you will have your head coach choose by himself if set to Yes, he follows your preferences.
