Some Player Pics wont show up

I downloaded the megapack for the faces and the roster update and it works perfect exept for the fact that player pictures that have letters like ä ü or something simillar wont show
the dates are correct and i tried to rename them with the correct letters since all those pics have some weird chinese kind of symbols in their names but that didnt work... so what do i have to do ?

Look at how the name is entered in the database using a database editor.

ä should be a in the pic, IIRC
