Re: EHM 2015
It's only available via Steam, so you buy it/play it via Steam (so in that sense, there's no limit to the number of computers you can play it on...but you'd have to transfer your saved game from computer to computer if you wanted to play the same save on multiple computers)Ice1384 wrote:How many computers can you download the ehm 2015 on ?

Re: EHM 2015
#1. You can have EHM on as many computers as you have Steam on with your Steam account. In order to have multiple copies going at one time though, you'd have to take any instance more than the first into Steam Offline Mode though. I've had 3 instances going at a time before.nino33 wrote:It's only available via Steam, so you buy it/play it via Steam (so in that sense, there's no limit to the number of computers you can play it on...but you'd have to transfer your saved game from computer to computer if you wanted to play the same save on multiple computers)Ice1384 wrote:How many computers can you download the ehm 2015 on ?
#2. You don't HAVE to transfer the saved game necessarily. You could theoretically also "stream" through Steam, meaning you could remotely run a game from one computer on another computer. But I haven't tried "streaming" through Steam yet. Maybe I should... or maybe someone else here has already. Has anyone tried this with EHM?
Honestly method #1 is far simpler of the two for now.

I've streamed from my desktop to my laptop and it works fine. I've even streamed non-steam games this way. You just have to set them up in your steam library. This way I can keep the smaller hd on the laptop from getting to clogged up.

Or RDP. Sometimes when I'm travelling, I'll just RDP to my home machine from my work Macbook and play. Obviously way better than running it in a VM, and doesn't use as much battery.
