Fantasy Draft

Post by Craig Viau »

After the fantasy draft I have some questions about unsigned players. I have some North American ones and some European ones.

One of my Europeans Alexander Semin shows up as a Unsigned prospect when I search under Expired he is 22.

4 other europeans show up under Expiring Unsigned Prospects. In general how long can I go without signing them.

They are between 19 and 25.

The Americans are between 20 and 24. They don't seem to show up.

Do they drop right into UFA's or RFA's I know nothing about the minors.

Thanks
Craig

Its still the preseason but I don't want to get half way though and lose anyone.

thanks
Again.

I think unrestricted free agency doesn't kick in until age 27, but I'm not 1000% sure...it might be six seasons or 27, whichever comes first. Click on your player from your roster screen and select information from the left-hand menu--his contract and free agency status will be broken down for you there.
