Olympic Hockey 2018

Post by djskek »

Wow first day of Olympic Turnament 2018.

The first highlight of tonight was just now the facial expression of Oleg Snarok (after the solo of Daloga)at the game OAR - SVK. :chuckle:

Delicious :-D

Good game Slovakia

End

SVK 3:2 OAR

What a first day. Wow

Honestly! I absolutely don't miss a NHL player. Two super games, balanced and exciting. What else could you want?

Awesome games and unforeseen outcomes ! I'm enjoying this tournament too !

Who do you think will win ? I'd bet on Sweden myself.

Honestly, both games played out the same way I guess. USA and OAR blew two-goal leads late.

I know they said there are 60 returning Olympic players in the entire tourney, and Slovenia has 19 of them. And the core of their team has been playing together for a while now, they're not just tossed together. That doesn't do much good or help in an Olympics with NHLers, but in this one with no NHLers that's going to help a ton.

OAR is still loaded and going to be dangerous, but after that performance, I'm not convinced USA has much of a shot at all of medaling. They may not even get out of that group. Sure seems like they went a little overboard on the overseas players and maybe should have put a few more collegiate or junior players on.

I'm really curious to see what the German team looks like.

EDIT: Stupid spelling typos.

That's really hard to say at this tournament.

Actually Canada or Russia. But today i could see, that some russian players lack the condition and speed. Sweden is a lucky bag. There are big fluctuations in the performance of the players this season. The Czech Republic should not be underestimated.

I don't think we can achieve much. Playful we are not on the level to keep up. We have to look to win against Norway. With a bit of luck, there is a point against Finland. However, we always have big problems against Finland. We must fighting!

Latvia unfortunately didn't qualify for these Olympic Games in hockey but I'll still watch the games when I can. Caught the second half of the OAR-SVK game, pretty happy with how the game ended :-D

Eurosport.de

Maybe you must pay for the highlights. 6,99 Euro monthly for eurosportplayer. For mobile you need the App.

But you can watch all games live. Renounced monthly. 5 Days you can try out.

Edit: Highlights are free of charge

Good mooooorning theblueline,

First Break FIN 2:1 GER

Finland leads deservedly. Good build up play, safe passing game by Finnland. We hold well, but produce too many mistakes in build up play.

2 break

FIN 4:1 GER

Finland more effective, we not use our powerplays. Totally deserved!

End

FIN 5:2 GER

Result is okay. Maybe a goal too high. Finland brutally effectively in powerplay.

Incredible

Guys, if the Swedes keep so playing in next times, they definitely will not be Olympic champions!

Rarely seen such a great performance from us. The victory of Sweden is absolutely not earned. In the end, nobody asks for it anymore.

Yes, well played by the germans!
They were full of energy and worked hard all over the ice.

The swedes were very disappointing, not creating enough
