EHM Note function, how do we use it?

Post by matt44 »

Does anyone make use of the "note" section on players and staffs info pages?

If so what kind of things do you put?

Never seen mention of it on here and this is the most comprehensive tool about EHM.

Mod note: I know there is a thread buried somewhere on here about this. Anyway, I cannot find it so cannot get upset with you!!

renaming the thread in order to make this more of a catch all. b-diddy da bad cop

Yep I use it all the time for guys entering draft, in whatever league I am playing in. Gives me a quick check at draft time to see if there is someone who fits in who is having big success, or is predicted by others I do not have access to, to have success.

For instance: I note player of the week awards, news items of promising futures, and on the other side of the coin--major injuries and comments from media or other GMs saying the guy sucks.

Oh, and I also use it if there is a guy I may be interested in signing, and i date it ahead to when I want to sign him. This is very rare but happened in my Saint John game for someone...I think Voracek.

Good post batdad, those are pretty much the exact same things I use the notes for.

I find them invaluable because it is way too hard to remember everything that happens, plus using paper isn't environmentally friendly.
