SM Liiga Facepack

Post by Devils88 »

SM-Liiga Facepack is done (347 Cards in very good quality).
Thanks to Tasku for the good "sources"
Also in the Download section:
The new Logos for titlebars and Big Teamlogos for the news also for SM Liiga.
the Files are named for the NA Update (Espoo, Tampere I, Turku etc. if you have other names you need to rename it)

I'm not really sure if the people who do up these hockey card pics really get enough credit, so to Devils88 and all the previous people who created them... this is a shout out to all your hard work.

I really appreciate all the work you guys put into these face packs as I can only imagine how time consuming the task can be. I would like you to know that the work you all do has improved my enjoyement of the game immensly. It may sound silly but not having player pics for most of the players in the game is quite frankly, annoying. You, the face pack creators all fill that void by creating these time consuming packs. Again, your work is appreciated and I can only hope that the project is continued for all the major leagues.

THANK YOU!!

Having worked on some of the initial set with Jeff R yeah they are brutally time consuming :swamped: but they really do make a giant difference in the game.

Way to go D88!! :wtg:

thanks for the compliments, mplasse

it's not only the making of the cards, i use most of the time searching for useable pictures that were hard to find :thdn: (qmjhl, draft packs)
leagues like nhl, ohl and sm-liiga have really good sources.

We'll see how many leagues i can cover. sometimes - like in the poll, with only 6 votes  - i really think i waste my time creating facepacks. it's important to have some call back from the community. so thanks again.

No prob, I figured you guys really needed some props, as I'm getting the feeling some people might be taking other people's hard work and generosity for granted!! Just wanted to send some positive energy your way!

I figured finding the pics was the tough part. If anyone just does a regular face pack then maybe they'll let you use their pack as a source for you to turn into the vintage hockey card style pics. I see someone released a german face pack today in fact. It would at least help a little and every little bit counts!
