ok on the player's profile it's written that he doesn't have to be waived but on the action menu i can't send him in the AHL before clearing waivers ??? i'm still in the off season and i'm wondering if it gets ok for the season...

Is he junior age? If he is under 20/21 I don't know that well, but I think it gets ok before the season starts.

Simple--If he has junior rights still...you will not be able to send him to AHL or ECHL without waiving him. He is still junior age, and will have to play there if he does not make your team...or you could risk waiving and losing him

I believe even if you waive him, you still won't be able to assign him to the AHL.

Just send him back to Junior when the season starts.

Heh. Of course not for a variety of reasons...including he gets claimed.
