Player Fatigue during the season

Post by capschmap »

I've never come across this problem before, but I'm noticing that during a season some of my players get tired (fitness level really low) and I'm at a loss as to why. Their physical stats are good, I put all my players on fitness regimens in the off season and at different intervals during the season, but the players seem to get tired anyway, even when they're on "normal" practice schedules (Both condition and skating at medium) and regardless of how many games they play. Anyone know any solutions to this?

Is it many players or just a couple? Do you have a good conditioning coach? I had the same thing happen on my Flyers season a couple of times and I just rested those players from practice for a day or two and their condition went back up to around 95%.
