Moving From ECHL to AHL

Post by mmdevs39 »

Starting a game with the New Jersey Devils....with the new update their main affiliate in Albany has been moved from the AHL to the ECHL. I would prefer to have my top affiliate in the AHL, so i went to swap them out with a different team (Charlotte) I thought I had done it all right, i switched Charlotte to the ECHL and put them in the right division, and then put Albany into Charlotte's spot, but when i go to start the game...Albany is still in the ECHL

Any tips as to what i'm doing wrong would be much appreciated

The first thing I think of is that you need to make sure you save the database after you switch them. :dunno:

Are your running the Editor with administrator privileges? Right-click on the shortcut to the Editor, go to the Compatibility tab and tick the box that says "Run this program as an administrator."

I've found in Windows 7 that the changes aren't actually saved if you don't run the Editor with admin privileges. This is because programs need admin privileges in order to edit/create files in the Program Files folder and subfolders.
