[Pre Game Editor] Clearing the database

Post by Konstantinov16 »

Hey all, been a while since I posted here. Wondering if someone help me determine if there is an easy way to wipe the rosters? See, I want to do an "all-time" roster, where each team has it's greatest players of all time... a la Gordie Howe playing next to Steve Yzerman, etc. If someone knows an easy way to just kind of "wipe" the rosters so I can do this, let me know. Thanks! :-D

Well, there is the free agency tool that makes all players FAs. I believe it's in the download section somewhere

Yeah, I tried the free agency tool, unfortunately that doesn't quite do the trick... I guess I'll have to scrap that idea for now... In the meantime, could someone tell me how to effectively set a player as a non-player? I want to retire Brian Rafalski and make him a scout for Detroit... however, when I set his Classification, this doesn't completely make him a non-player... can someone help me out please? Thanks.

** I also set his "job for club" to scout and this does not completely remove him from the salary status or make him a bona fide non-player... as his player attributes still show up, any help is greatly appreciated.
